Brier Creek Elementary is a year-round school for grades kindergarten through fifth grade. It opened in 2006, and I was privileged to develop and launch its first media program. With my thirty years of experience as a media specialist I share my love of print and digital books and information with students and staff. Each day my goal is to support learning, foster a love of reading, and hone 21st century skills for all students. Our media center provides a variety of resources for both students and staff, making it a critical component of the learning and teaching process for our school community.
