My students have varying interests. Some of my students love fiction, while others love nonfiction books. Some of them like picture books, while others prefer chapter books. They are able to check books out of the school library, but have difficulty identifying books on the appropriate reading level. Many of my students have very few books at home. I would like to offer leveled books in my classroom library that students can read at school and take home for extra practice.
