Having a listening center will allow my students to participate in reading activities in their classroom. My students are all learning to read, and a listening center is a great way to expose them to a variety of wonderful stories. The listening center will allow them to use their imagination to visualize places, people, and animals they are learning about. My students will be able to make a connection to a world they know, or look into a fantasy world where they will grow to love reading. Therefore, incorporating a listening center is a great way for them to listen and learn!
