I teach 3rd grade in an inner-city, public school. I LOVE what I do and am always looking for ways to help my children become respectful and responsible people. Yes, I teach all academic subjects, reading and writing being my favorites. But I really want my students to feel good about who they are and what they have to offer the world. I want them to know they have the power to become whatever they want to be. My other desire is to create a love for reading in my students. I love to see them get so absorbed in a book that they forget about time. That's when I know they will always love to read. With this, a world of possibilities are open to them!

About my class
