As a new charter school, we have brought together 160 students from 26 different schools to make a difference in their lives. We serve students from all walks of life, dedicated to giving every child, regardless of their prior educational experiences a chance to excel in the academic arena. When presented with a rich curriculum, hands on teaching, and surrounded by caring adults my second graders have shown incredible capacity for learning. Unfortunately, we operate on a budget that is only 80% of the state funding for other schools in our area. This means there is little money for "extras".
