The Bronx Guild is a non-traditional high school that believes that capturing the energy and interests of young people through interest based projects and internships in the adult world promotes learning through productive action. While most of our student body come from low income families, they take advantage of all the opportunities we afford them. Our students intern at hospitals, law offices, and day care centers (just to name a few). They crave knowledge and seek new ways to help their community. Several of our students have even traveled to the Dominican Republic and Haiti to help with community clean ups, facilitate workshops in English, discrimination, art, and sexuality.
