I teach first grade at a Title I School. Over 90% of our students receive free/reduced lunch, a population with great needs. There is very little financial support for teachers to get the materials that they need for there classroom. Funding has recently been cut even further, putting even more pressure on the classroom teacher to provide the necessary materials from his/her own pocket. The bottom line is, I simply cant afford to do it alone. I need your help! My students deserve quality educational materials just like more fortunate students regularly receive. If I could financially afford it, I would provide them with everything they need. But unfortunately, I cant. This is where I am asking for your generosity to find its way to my 16 amazing first graders!
