Our school is lacking basic supplies, like paper and ink resulting in unprepared teachers and disadvantaged students. I am a male special educator teaching at the intermediate level (4th and 5th grade) in a high-need city in Maryland. I'm in my third year here and I must say I love it. The need is really high here and the children always make it worth it. As a teacher, I can help, but only with adequate resources.
