My students attend a Title One public school in California. Our school has been working very hard to raise the level of our students' academic achievement because we want our students to be life long learners. Our school creates and provides an environment conducive to enhancing the academic achievement of each student within the context of school and community. The teachers at our school maintain a high level of expectation for our students, and for over five years, the test scores on the state assessments have improved in fourth grade.
