My project is based behind a student-centered approach of students learn best with they are given the opportunity to explore, move, touch, and observe in a natural learning environment. Because many of my students are non-verbal, the iPad will provide them the opportunity to share through pictures and videos what they are doing in school with their families. Our art center fosters their creativity independently by having a variety of material where they can create and be self-directed learners. Our science center allows them to explore and builds curiosity in how things work around them. Our dramatic play area gives them the opportunity to engage in imaginative play. It teaches them new vocabulary and gives them the chance to socialize and learn how to play with others.
