My students are learning to code during their Computer Lab time. Now we need a Lego Mindstorms Kit so that they can apply what they are learning to something they can see and touch. Most of my students have played with Legos before, but they have never built something that they can program to perform tasks. All of them have been practicing programming, but now they need to learn to put their building skills and their coding skills together. They will work in cooperative groups to feed off each other. Having the robot and learning to program it will help introduce my students to potential career options in the technology world.
