Our students are inquisitive and interested first grade learners. They are new to the English Language and therefore need as much individual teacher support as they can get. They are eager to please and really enjoy every opportunity to guide their own learning, as they do during workshop time. They also enjoy working individually with me. Living in a high poverty area, and most having parents that work long hours, our students especially benefit from having that special one-on-one interaction with adults.
