I have five wonderful students who have mentally handicap challenges. My students are in elementary school in an ESE classroom. They love to sing and learn their letters, numbers, and shapes. They are at a kindergarten level. They are very loving and love to help. They will put a smile on your face watching them interact with each other. Their favorite song would be "The Wheels on the Bus". At circle time you can see them shine as they sing the number song counting to 20.
