My students are primarily between the ages of 15 & 17. They come from all kinds of families & backgrounds. The one thing my students have in common is that school is difficult for them. Every day, in every class, they are constantly reminded of their struggle to read. Despite their difficulty to read, my students have been Beginning to read The Hunger Games. I want this set of books so badly so that I can instill the love of reading in my students. Reading an almost 400 page book will instill such pride in my students and I know they will have to read the next two books in the trilogy =).
