While we all adapt to the times, traditional support models are changing. We are learning from home and accessing instruction and support services virtually. Because we are not able to connect with our students face to face, it is so important to seek out engaging content and activities that will support speech and language development for our students. These items will help provide support to my caseload of over 60 students with diverse speech and language needs. Having these valuable resources will allow for my students to access learning in a fun, relevant manner that will excite them while targeting their speech-language goals. With all the diverse uses and apps available on the iPad, students will be able to target language and articulation, with multiple repetitions of their targeted goals during teletherapy. The Osmo is a powerful learning tool that pairs with the iPad. One benefit of the Osmo is that each student can create their own profile within the Osmo apps which allows their learning to be designed to specifically meet their needs. I would be able to incorporate the classroom curriculum into our speech-language sessions in a tangible, interactive, and engaging way. Thank you so much for considering this project!
