I am excited to be a part of Melrose STEAM Magnet, where learning is as much out of the box as in it. Our focus is on building not just competent problem-solvers, but, just as importantly, nice people. Science, computer technology, rigorous math, and engineering challenges are just as much a part of the weekly curriculum as a musical production my 4th graders helped compose, UCLA graduate students guest-teaching about mindfulness and brain anatomy, and environmental activism projects. We are a Title-I school located in Hollywood, CA.
