I have very inquisitive 3rd graders who are excited about learning. They are truly inspired by science and cheer when we begin class. I try to give them as many hands-on experiences as my meager budget allows. We are a rural school in Tennessee. Our students are limited on such hands on experiences in the classroom due to economical constraints.
