Low reading levels, lack of encouragement from outside sources, and general lack of real success prior to reaching high school, my students have a special place in my heart. Though their concerns rest anywhere but in reading and writing, they deserve the opportunity to fall in love with both of these arts. The beginning high school year will determine whether or not the students in this group will jump on the graduation trail.

About my class
