The students in my school represent an ethnically and educationally diverse community. As a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district, my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, I am looking to keep things simple and provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences. My school serves students in grades Pre K-8 and provides rigorous academics, hardworking teachers and a safe learning environment. And sometimes we need extra materials to help our students learn in a different way due to the various stages of development and academic needs.
