My elementary school students, from a small, urban district needs resources to become college and career ready. One way they lack the experience other students get is from collaborative technology. These students are becoming products of disadvantage, as evidenced by our over 75% of population on a free and reduced lunch rate. What excites me is these students are receiving an hour of STEM education in my classroom a day. These students are constantly being told they don't have the ability to do things. They are using paper, pencil, and posters. We wish we could represent these wonderful ideas digitally and catch the local headlines for innovation.
