Many of the students in my classroom have experienced traumatic or stressful events in their young lives. Many do not have the skills to decompress under pressure. I have personally experienced this and through yoga I have learned how to calm my mind and body to face the challenges of the day. I am excited to share these techniques with my students this year. Through yoga our children will improve both mentally and physically. We need these mats to make the hard surface relaxing and comfortable for the children to learn a variety of poses during our Physical Education time. Thank you for your consideration.
