Students are inspired to read when they have the correct tools to do so. These books are an essential tool to help struggling readers learn essential phonics concepts. Literacy empowers students to reach their full potential. Through targeted small group instruction and intervention, my students are getting every opportunity to grow into literate adults that impact their communities and the world. They are doing this during a pandemic, so organizing and having belongings they don't share is essential for their health. The seat pockets allow each student to care for their own learning tools without spreading germs.
