My students are third graders who range from basic to gifted. We are in a low-income community and many households do not have access to computers at home. My students enjoy using technology, but are limited to it. They are eager and enthusiastic learners who enjoy creating projects and presenting them to peers, parents, and other adults; however, it is extremely difficult for them to do so without the resources. My students are aware of their role in society, and the importance of a higher education. The vast majority of them have high goals of attending college or universities. Without today's technology at their fingertips, they will struggle in the future.
