Last year, we introduced the Stock Market Game simulation to the students in our school, and it was certainly well received. Consistently we hear our students question the relevance and connection of learning. The Stock Market Game simulation, made available by the SIFMA (Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association) Foundation, certainly engages students in the middle school environment. Plus, students have to collaborate. For some students, this is the biggest learning experience. They just need the fall and spring fees to participate. Students are constantly online, so one reason this program is successful is because everything is online. They research online. They read current event articles online. They purchase their stocks and check their rankings online.

About my class
