My 142 students are diverse. They are jokesters, social butterflies, and athletes. They are poets, scientists, and mathematicians. They are beauty queens, drama queens, and loners. But not matter how diverse my students are they all have the potential to live a successful life. I realize that as their teacher, it is my job to get them to see this potential, to believe in themselves, and to give them the best opportunities to learn the skills that will allow them to attain their potential and be successful. My students need an authentic learning experience complete with authentic curriculum, authentic grading system, and authentic tools.

About my class
