This year I teach a class that is slightly higher academically from my past experiences. They are true Life Long Learners and seriously have a thirst to learn. They are extremely inquisitive, self-motivated, and expressive. This is just the beginning of their learning, and they need the tools and environment to succeed. Unfortunately, they come from low socio-economic backgrounds and the majority of my students have no access to technology at home, no Internet and no computers. Many parents walk their children to school and transportation to the local library is difficult to access technology. Many students live with a single parent where considering technology devices in the home are impossible. Regardless of their situations, their inner determination to learn is strong and powerful. Their classroom is the primary venue to gain the necessary daily advancements and learning experiences with technology.
