My eighth grade students will use the Dash Robots to gain a better understanding of math. They will gain a better understanding by incorporating coding into the classroom. Can you imagine a building collapsing and the only way to check for life is to use the Dash Robot and Geometric Transformations to search for missing people? That is one example of how I will combine real life situations with math concept a to keep my students engaged. The Dash robots will be used to help students bring math to life. They will be able to apply their math topics to real world experiences.
