My students are absolutely amazing. My classroom consists of eight special education students who need an extra boost in their life. My students are children in third through fifth grade who are on an academic level of a toddler to second grader. The students I work with have been diagnosed as being learning impaired, mentally impaired, having an emotional disturbance disorder, and autistic. Most of my students are unable to read words and are unable to keep up with their peers even if a story is read aloud or if they do understand are unable to communicate what they've learned.
