I am a social worker at the Math and Science Exploratory School (MS 447). MS 447 is a New York City Department of Education middle school located in Borem Hill, Brooklyn. We have a program at MS 447 for students with Autism Spectrum Disorders called the "ASD Nest Program." The ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) Nest program is a flexible inclusion program for children with Asperger's Syndrome in public schools. Asperger's Syndrome is one of several Autism Spectrum Disorders characterized by difficulties in social interaction and by restricted and stereotyped interests and activities. This program is conducted at MS 447 in grades six through eight.
