A group of native Spanish speaking high school students have formed a club (STARS-Student Tutors Achieve Reading Success) that offers tutoring in Spanish to elementary students. The high school students are transported to the elementary school for one hour of after school tutoring per week. This is a somewhat rural area of North Carolina and the schools don't have many resources for materials. The club is asking for books in Spanish to read to the elementary school students.
