My students are looking forward to dissecting a real animal and touching the actual organs. At the same time, the excitement in their voices also contains some doubt because they are accustomed to attending schools with limited resources. My school is in its second year of opening. All of my physiology students are now juniors or seniors who came from two surrounding overcrowded high schools in the community. Some students have special needs and others are learning English as a second language. Unfortunately, most of them did not have a chance to dissect an animal in their previous life science or biology classes.
