We are an alternative school located in Illinois. We serve students in grades sixth through twelve grade who are expulsion-eligible, expelled (readmitted for administrative transfer), or multiple suspensions.The mission of the Safe School is to provide a safe and positive environment where students can learn as they strive to become independent, productive, and responsible citizens. The school's focus is on building each individuals academic, behavioral, and social skills to facilitate greater success both in the classroom and in the community. Our students attend the school for a variety of reasons, but the majority of students attend due to difficulty being in the larger traditional school setting.
