With a majority of English Language learners in my classroom, it is important that my students have as many opportunities to visually explore text. The Charter school I teach at has limited funds to purchase supplies, such as individual copies of text. With a document camera in our classroom, my students will have the ability to engage in learning at a higher level, thus improving their overall comprehension in the classroom. In my class I strive to foster critical thinkers who are prepared to be responsible, productive, and tolerant citizens within a changing world. Everyday I try to challenge, motivate, and inspire my students through a rigorous curriculum infused with the arts and technology.
