My students inspire me every day to be better; a better person, friend and most importantly a better educator. I have a very diverse group of students in my 6th through 8th grade classes who deserve the chance to experience all that science and technology has to offer. They attend one of the oldest junior high schools in the district where many of the students are on free and reduced lunch based on their financial needs. For the majority of these students, school is a place of sanctuary where they can turn to for guidance and encouragement. Every day these students beat the odds and continue to show growth, both personally and in their academic careers.

About my class
