Our students are an incredibly dynamic group of Deaf and Hard of Hearing students who range from grades 9 to 12. They are a wonderful bunch of kids who come from such a diverse background including oral, signing, or bilingual programs including Deaf residential schools and typical mainstream settings. They have multiple strengths and challenges as do all high schools students but they are a unique because they access much of what they learn visually and/or through sign language. We have students who are fully included and some students who attend classes exclusively for Deaf/HH students as well as mainstream classes. Our Deaf/HH students are a fantastic asset to our diverse school climate. Our students are eager to learn and strive for success just as their hearing peers. Many of them have great potential and some will go to college. We believe in our students and we want to give them all the tools they need to reach their fullest potential.
