Children are our future. It is an overused phrase, but so very true. The children in my class are concerned about their local environment and the impact that humans have on it. They are a wonderful group of third and fourth graders who come from many ethnic backgrounds as well as primarily low socioeconomic households. Many children are being raised by single parents, aunts, grandparents and other guardians. Yet, they would inspire you with their love of learning.
