The class is composed of twenty English Language Learners. Most of the students are self-motivated, eager learners that would benefit from all types of available resources. Some parents can't assist their sons/daughters because they don't acquire the English language. So that is a disadvantage for the student. They attend public school that is in a high poverty area infested with gangs.
