I hope to create a classroom library in my art room, filled with many types of art related books for all levels. The books I want to use in my library range from biographies on artists, books to inspire art lessons, and books for early finishers to enjoy. I have collected some books that I have found around our school, but they are very dated and not in good shape. I hope to develop my library with more current books. By creating an art room library, students will be exposed to more current books about artists, art periods, different art techniques, and even be entertained by art related topics when finishing work early. Students will also be provided more opportunities to read during the school day, encouraging more developed fluency and comprehension.
