I teach in a very impoverished neighborhood. Many of my students live in shelters or their families are on public assistance. Many students do not own a computer and are not familiar with today's technology. My students have great potential to overcome and supersede their unfortunate circumstances with the right resources. They are fortunate to attend a school which continues to improve because of hard working, caring and dedicated teachers.
