My Students: Research shows most of my students need extra support and hands-on learning to be on grade level. Providing creative common core based materials and technology greatly enhances their success. My students are wonderfully unique and diverse in ethnicity, culture, and abilities. Title I students have parents that care and want the best for their children, but sometimes are overwhelmed with work and trying to make ends meet. Single or struggling parents spend their limited time reading, doing math, or helping with homework to help their kids progress, but may not have the background knowledge themselves to fully help their student. It is also hard for low income families to provide as many opportunities for use of technology at home because of the high cost of these products.
