My students, an Integrated Co-Teaching class, are economically disadvantaged attending a Title 1 school in New York City. Our school is nationally recognized as an excelling Title 1 school with a strong focus on academic and social principles that help create a well rounded student. We are constantly working together to create an environment where the students can feel safe, secure, and wanted. Many of our students come from broken homes where only one parent is around and the faculty are often looked at to be role models in their lives.
