The girls in the basketball program are responsible students who are successful in the classroom. Some of them are 3 sport-athletes, in the top 10% of the class, taking more than one AP class, and are bilingual. The girls work hard in the classroom but I want them to have the same success and support on the court. They want to become better basketball players but do not always have the funds to pay for what they need. Our school's athletic budget is very small so it is necessary that we supplement it through fundraising efforts. The girls are excited to begin not just playing on a basketball team but building a program.

About my class
