Last year, distance learning made it challenging to keep my Physical Education students encouraged and engaged especially with no equipment at home. Starting this school year virtually will be challenging especially because many of them do not have workout equipment. The yoga mats, jump rope, and bands will allow the students to focus on improving our fitness each day through live teaching and videos. Students will learn about and how improve in the five components of fitness, Cardiovascular Endurance, Muscular Strength, Muscular endurance, Flexibility, Body Composition as well as learn meditation techniques to improve their mental and emotional health. My hope with this project is to show them how important it is to keep the body and mind healthy during this time. These at home kits will encourage them to be physically active everyday. Thank you for your support!
