With the generous funds you are donating, I would like to purchase high-interest books to engage my readers. My students, particularly the boys, love books about animals. I want to purchase non-fiction books about animals like the Who Would Win series and fiction books that feature animals as the main characters: Fly Guy, Berenstein Bears, and Poppleton. My students also love books that feature monsters as the main characters like the Mighty Mighty Monsters series. In addition, I would like to purchase books with black boys as the main characters (Clubhouse Mysteries Super Sleuth Collection) because I want my black male students to see themselves in the pages of the books that they read.
