We are 100% remote learning and it is very difficult to teach without the appropriate and reliable technology. I am currently using an old Chromebook which does not allow me to have access to all the necessary online tools zoom and other online platforms have to offer. Not having adequate technology, is a disservice to my fifth graders who are eager to learn, but are being prevented as a result of inadequate technology. It would be greatly appreciated if this project were to get funded because this new Apple - MacBook Pro will allow my students to be exposed to the best remote learning possible. This laptop will help my students by being able to create engaging lessons to prepare them for the future. I will be able to screen share and present the online curriculum during our lessons. My students will benefit from the consistent use of technology by preparing them to be 21st century learners. Students will learn how to use technology and use various online platforms. Students will be able to access our language arts, math, science, health, art, and physical education curriculum while learning from home as if they were in the classroom.
