These violins will allow 14 students to participate this year in our Instrumental Music program that otherwise would not be able to afford to rent or buy an instrument. In addition, it will offer the same opportunity to students for years to come, as we can reuse this resource time and again for the enjoyment and education of our students. I know the value of music education in our schools, and wish to share that gift with as many of our students as we can. These instruments will allow these students to learn the techniques of playing the violin, and to share in a team effort in creating performances for peers, teachers, parents, and community members. The joy of playing music together is one that all should experience and enjoy, and these violins will make that possible for twice the number of students we are currently able to serve with our violin inventory.
