The materials requested will help my students improve in different areas. The “I Believe in my Self” books will help them understand different feelings and show them strategies to help change their attitude when not feeling well. Fine motor skills, problem solving and overall thinking process will improve with use of puzzles. The “Hands on Science” book will facilitate the scientific process for experiments. Students will be able to use the spot mat to sit on the floor comfortably and work from anywhere in the classroom. Art materials will be useful for various projects aligned to our curriculum that require imagination, creativity and fine motor skill practice. These materials will help my students increase their self-esteem, improve fine and gross motor skills and enhance their thinking process as they enjoy learning. Finally, these materials will enable my students to work independently or in groups and motivate them to increase their focus time while learning curriculum.
