My wonderful students are from the inner-city. They are a vivacious group of enthusiastic learners. Many of my students don't have outside learning experiences. I was delighted to be able to bring my students to many field trips this year through the generosity of sponsors like you. A student asked me on the bus if we were still in the US while another thanked me for bringing them to the best field trip ever. Students were ecstatic to document their experiences through drawing, retelling, and writing. To take this project a step further, I would like to incorporate technology into this experience. Laptops would be a tool that will engage them to produce photo essays of their new found adventure. Communicating in real time with students from another part of the world would be an integral part of the future. Would you please join me in making this a reality for my students?
