My students will each receive a college pennant of their very own to hang in their homes. I plan to award each student a pennant as they culminate from my 6th grade class to 7th grade. Sometimes all it takes is some tangible motivation to express your belief in a child's future success. Gifting a college pennant to each of my students will show them that we are invested in their future. Many of my students will be the first generation in their family to attend college and they deserve to know that the adults in their community believe in them.
