Help our students move into the 21st century! This proposal is for a fourth grade classroom in a very high poverty, urban school. Our school received a lap top cart last year that allows every student in the class to use a computer when researching or working on a project. My students LOVE this opportunity and often tell me they feel like college students in a cafe - this is from students who come from families where college is often not an option or a part of life. The more we can encourage our students to use technology and the more we can offer them in this area, the better we are preparing them for college to be a possibility for them in the future.

About my class
